I’M STILL STANDING, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!
I would like to let you all know that I am still standing after IKE
came to town.
Ike started hitting us during the early morning hours. Around 8:20
a.m. lost electricity. Then the winds and rains started gearing up
for a rockin and rollin day. (more…)

According to the Arbor Day Foundation, we need more trees where we live.
Why do we need more trees?:
Wildlife – Trees help make nature a part of our daily lives.
Trees provide nesting sites for songbirds, and
food and cover for a wide variety of wildlife.
Conserve Energy – Cities without trees are “heat islands”.
100 million additional mature trees in U.S. cities
would save $2 billion per year in energy costs. (more…)
