Forced Green Turns 2 – We Have So Far To Go, Yet We Have Come So Far
There’s a gruesome little saying that goes – if you put a frog in boiling water it will jump out, but if you put it in cold water and slowly heat it until the water boils, the frog will stay there and die. Ergo, if slow and gradual, change goes on for the most part, unnoticed. This is so often used as an analogy to caution for bad changes. But it also serves to make us pause and take time to realize the good changes. (more…)

It’s Global Warming Believe It Or Not
This will be a totally different planet with an increase of just 3 °C (5 1/2 °F), in our global warming, a planet that hasn’t existed for millions of years. There was no humans when it was 3 degrees warmer. Some scientist say that may be the tipping point, when changes in the world’s climate could cascade out of control. (more…)

Today is a few tidbits that I thought might be useful information.
There are 49 million disposable diapers dumped into landfills every DAY and it takes
500 years for them to decompose. That means your great, great, great (you get the
picture) grandchildren’s diapers will start before your baby’s diapers disappear.
Cloth diapers are chemical free and switching to cloth will reduce waste by over
1/2 ton per baby per year. (more…)
