I am sure that you have heard or seen these before, but I feel the need to share them
with you to help out in your everyday living.
- Peel a banana from the bottom and you won’t have to pick the little “stringy
things” off of it. That’s how the primates do it. Take your bananas apart when you
get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster.
- Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much
longer and not mold!
- Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating.
- Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking. (more…)

If every American walked 1 mile to get lunch instead of driving
a car. You would burn 100 calories and avoid the same amount
of CO2 pollution as taking 4.3 million cars off the road.
Do you have a trouble light? If so, change out the incandescent bulb
with a compact fluorescent bulb (CFL). You will use less energy, there will
be less heat and will be safer in tight spaces! A trouble light is
the kind with a hook at the top with a long extension cord for use
under car, in closets, etc.
A new refrigerator uses half the energy than the typical refrigerator
from 1990′s. That means half of the electricity and half of the CO2
pollution.
Hope this helps …….
