Why You Should Recycle

Do You Recycle your Clothes?

It is spring cleaning time and many of us just trash our clothes that bulge out the dump sites more. How about looking at this infographic to see how our textiles are handled. Should you recycle them to the nearest Goodwill or the Salvation Army, other folks could utilize them. Nothing like secondhand clothes to re-vamp your wardrobe. In fact, you can get some pretty darn good deals at a pretty low price.

I’m happy to say that my family as a whole (and mine were a goodly portion!) “recycle” clothes (and many more items). Moving has that way of at least helping one attempt to clean house – and pass along to others good condition, usable items. (Now if I could only get done getting out LOL!)

Hi Theresa … Yep! moving can help move extras to the recycle bins. I know that you will get r done! 😀

Wow those number really are huge. I have always made a point when I am cleaning out my closet to donate my clothes to the local salvation army. I could consign them but always felt better about donating. I glad to know I have never contributed to that amount of waste.

Hi Hillary … Congrats! I think it is always better to donate so that the items are recycled and utilized again. 😀 It is kinda fun too!
