Eco-Friendly Road Making

Natural Paving Solutions Eco-Friendly Road Paving

They have a product that can build roads at 75% less cost of an asphalt road. Not only that, it can be walked on within 20 minutes of being heavy rolled and driven on within a couple of hours depending on the sunshine at hand. Hard to believe?

Traditional oil-based paving methods come with a high environmental and monetary cost, and a considerable carbon footprint.

Well,  this  product mixes with just water and the soil at hand. It is not cement as cement is much more expensive and it looks like asphalt but it is not. All that is needed is a rotary ground tiller, a water truck/sprayer, and a heavy roller (9 or 7 rubber wheeled pneumatic roller is preferred) for most mix-in jobs.

What can this product handle?
New Rural Roads
Road Rebuilding
Parking Lots
Nature Trails
Golf Course Cart Paths
Landfill Roads
Dust Control
Highway Shoulders
Heavy Machinery / Truck Terminals
Landing Strips for small planes
Ditch Construction
Levees for flood control
Vegetation control near roadways
Water front pathways

Benefits of the ‘Natural Paving’ Solution(Eco-Pave©)

Cost effective
Faster production to completion and usage
Maximum durability
Rehabilitates asphalt in-place
Renews marginal materials
Seals in ultrafine aggregates
Creates waterproof surface
There is no high cost of materials
Less machinery to use
Environmentally friendly leaving no carbon footprint
There is no oily environmentally damaging material being used

With the infrastructure problems facing us today, this will dramatically change the face of road development budgets. Production will be multiplied while reducing overall costs. More road ways can be developed in rural areas for the same budget, giving a better life to the citizens of any country.

At 3-4 inches deep, there have been no problems of supporting over 80,000 lbs for the last 14 years without issue. Then add in that this eco-friendly product has no carbon footprint. The product is shipped in 55 gallon barrel or 275 gallon totes. At the end of the day, cleanup up is the use of a water hose. That is not so true with cement or asphalt.

What more could you ask for?

But what is it? You don’t say what this “natural” thing actually is. Asphalt gets destroyed very easily and cement is the best thing for roads. Are there any tests of this product other than what the manufacturer says?

  2. Linda Says:

Hi Island Hopes … Yes, there has been a 14 year test on this new liquid that looks like asphalt. Up to 80,000 lbs can move over it without issue and if you want to go higher in weight, then the road has to be 5 inches or higher.
