Such a great post! It scary to see the sheer number of chemicals that are already out there and to know that more are being created daily is truly frightening. Over the last couple of years, I've been able to switch out most of the products in my home for more natural alternatives. I've done essentially the same thing with my diet and found that I feel so much healthier and have more energy than ever. Preservatives and chemicals are so prominent in the diets of many Americans and unfortunately the only way to combat that is through education, which will take time. Nevertheless, I feel as if we are that path to re-educating the masses, and that is something to be optimistic about. Great post!

BTW- Let me know if you'd like to cross post any of your articles on The Common Progressive.

Thanks for sharing this great article at such a relevant time. Recently the FDA found alarming levels of arsenic in our apple juice, lipstick, granola bars and more! These chemicals are known for their dangerous effects on our bodies. Keep up the great work.
