There was a good Nova on solar recently. Apparenlty, the only way to make it practical is have the utilities pay the cost of installation, but they get the benefit of the excess power going back into the grid.

I love this. I would just love to know why, we aren’t getting on with this technology much,here at home in our own country? Another one of those things, we should be jumping on, but seems to be on the back burner! Sigh!

UK homeowners will be able to claim grants to help with the cost of installing solar panels from April. I think this is a great idea to help cut emissions with the added benefits of paying for itself and making the house more saleable in the future..
