The In’Flector Window Insulators

inflector

Scottie, Shields Up!

Advantage Window Systems, Inc. became the owner of IN’FLECOR Control Systems in April of 1999 and moved the company from Canada to Aledo, Texas, just west of Fort Worth, Texas.

They now are manufacturing the world’s first magnetic reversible solar panel that could heat in the winter, keep your home cooler in the summer, keep your furniture and carpet from fading from the UV’s, and cut the UV’s by up to 92%. A see through Insulating Panel mounted to the inside of windows, doors or skylights. The panel is manufactured of a metalized, coated, polyethylene sheet laminated to a sheet of carbon graphite PVC that is then perforated and laminated to a sheet of clear polyester.

inflector-3In’Flector is not a film, foil, or screen. In’Flector on an existing window will get better results than a brand new low e window! It is exceptional for hot or cold weather and will completely change the comfort level of homes and businesses. The IN’FLECTOR insulating panel is reversible, so the reflective surface can face outward during the summer when solar gain is a problem, and then flip so the carbon PVC surface can face outward during cold seasons to reflect heat back into the building and collect convective sunlight for conversion to radiant heat. The panel is held in place with magnets which form a virtually air tight seal and inhibits infiltration, conduction and convection while providing additional dead air space for insulation.

inflector-1A 4′ X 4′ In’Flector window insulator can produce as much heat as a 600 watt electrical heater per sunlight hour and reflect up to 72% of the room heat back into the room! During the summer, their product reduces air infiltration up to 71%, stops solar heat gain up to 65%, and blocks up to 90% of harmful UV rays for such customers as General Motors and numerous Canadian Embassies.

You get to choose the product style of your choice from roller shades, vertical shades, sliding panel tracks, aluminum panels, or steel frame panelslider.

Testing was done by the John Yellott Solar Laboratory, Ortech Laboratories, and Texas A&M. The Canadian government has done many installations in governmental buildings and embassies with great results and they have done US Army installatons also that were impressive.

.Looks like these insulators are worth their weight in energy savings.

  13. Carly Says:

Hi everyone. I just wanted to voice my opinion, that the IN’Flector is the most innovative, energy saving product for windows, doors, and skylights that I have seen. We work in a window covering business here in Austin and the IN’Flector is something I always recommend to customers that are having serious heat gain problems in their home or business. Scientifically speaking, it outperforms any new window or window covering product out on the market. Adds insulation, reflects radiant heat and solar heat gain, blocks UV, cuts down glare, but keeps the natural light, and stops infiltrating air all season long! And it’s reversible! COME ON! What else could you ask a window product to do! Get the word out about this amazing product!

  14. Linda Says:

Hi Carly …. WOW! thanks for the excellent feedback!

  15. ConnieFoggles Says:

I know that would help us a lot here in Florida. I’ll check into it as our windows are terrible any way.
