Planet Green Channel
Last month I told you about a new channel coming to cable June 1st called Planet
Green.
Well, it is here and it is good. I caught a show on there called Wasted. But, I will
tell you about that tomorrow. In the meantime, listen to this.
A town called Greensburg, Kansas was literally wiped off the map by a tornado last
year. Apparently, these people have dedicated themselves to rebuilding their town -
TOTALLY GREEN.
The awesome thing is they had the fortitude and foresight to look beyond their
absolute destruction and chaos and see the chance to create something wonderful. The
first truly green town in America. PROUD OF THEM! The right name for the right town.
So, Planet Green will be donating a dollar towards that effort for everybody that
registers at their website….. http://www.planetgreen.com
Take a few minutes and register to help this town out and get Planet Green to let
loose some of that money!
Also, a program will air on June 15 at 9/8 central on the Greensburg, Kansas story.
If you have Directv, Planet Green is on channel 286.

Awesome! Everyone should go there and register!
I wonder how many people will move to Greensburg, just to be part of the first green community. I bet that going green helps the local economy there! I look forward to seeing and hearing more.

Hi! We live in Greensburg (My family has been here for 6 generations) and we don’t have Planet Green either. We switched from cable to Dish Network to get it, but it seems we have to upgrade to a more expensive package to get it… So I guess we’ll upgrade, at least until the series is over!

That is the way to do it for now! Once a lot of folks get wind of it, the cable companies will have to find a way to put up the Planet Green channel.

It is awesome that they will donate the $1 for Greensburg. It is ashame though that most of us in this area cannot get the channe and especially sad though that Greensburg residents have to pay an extra fee to upgrade to watch a progam about their own town.
ForcedGreen is an awesome site!

Whomever your provider is, call them and tell them to add Planet Green so that you can see the Greensburg series. In the meantime, come here and we will try and keep an update during the series so that those of you who cannot get the channel will stay informed. Thanks for caring!

Hey I have Time Warner and it’s cool but the only thing it doesn’t have is Planet Green. We got it on channel 140 for it in HD but I don’t have an HDTV but if one of you do you can watch it on channel 140 so no need to complain. Unless you don’t have any of this stuff then go buy it if your really that GREEN.

Great news! At least, folks who do have HD and HDTV
can see it. Other than that, we will be updating weekly for those who do not.
