The obvious question arises when I see a product like this that looks too good to be true (at least from their point of view). If they have been dominating the so called world market why is it that we don’t see it alongside all of the other insulating products when we go down to the building supply store? When too much emphasis is put into name dropping (NASA) it tends to draw attention away from the product itself. Now all I see is a sales pitch. I see no government certifications let alone any support from any government body that says we should be using this product. Why is it that we don’t see an overwhelming movement from architects and engineers to integrate this product into their designs? Perhaps they aren’t so easily influenced by pictures of spaceships and name dropping.

James, Thank you for your comment! Having worked at NASA-Johnson Space
Center in Houston, Texas for many years, I am not easily influenced by
pictures of space ships. So please reference:
    http://www.sti.nasa.gov/spinoff
That is NASA Scientific and Technical Information (sti), spinoff site
dedicated to “cross-over” products. See Issue: 2007;category:consumer/home/recreation;page:72;center:Kennedy Space Center;origin:Marshall Convergent Coating-1;Manufacturer;Tech Traders Inc./the Insuladd Company;state:Florida.
Also, you may not be seeing it at your local building supply store yet, because it is still a new product, spinoff occurring around June, 2007.
Again, thank you for your comment and come back !
